‘I am still learning’
Michelangelo, aged 87

  • Mathematics

I particularly enjoy mathematics because it comes naturally to me. I like the certainty of knowing there is one correct answer to find, but with many different ways to get there.

I have enjoyed mastering the new topics of differentiation and integration. I love the way pascal’s triangle works in binomial theory and is elegantly symmetrical.

I achieved a grade 8 at GCSE. My predicted grade for A level is an A.

  • Economics

Economics is a completely new subject, not taught at GCSE, therefore all the knowledge content is new.

I have enjoyed learning about monetary and fiscal policy, and quantitative easing. It is this subject that has given me my desire to study banking and finance further.

  • Biology

I enjoy the content of Biology, despite it being a challenging subject due to the content load.

I have loved learning about the cardiovascular system in animals. Transport in plants and animals is my favourite topic.

At GCSE I achieved an 8/7 in combined science which I worked extremely hard for.
